My 26th micro-finance loan
I just made my 26th loan to low-income small business people around the world without access to traditional banking systems.
This time to a group of people running a beauty salon in Tanzania via Kiva.org.
Kiva.org is an organization that allows people to lend money via the Internet to microfinance institutions in developing countries around the world and in the United States, which in turn lend the money to small businesses and students. Makes me feel good everytime I do it.
